Accident Overview
A pilot reported an accident during the takeoff ground roll in a left crosswind condition. The incident resulted in substantial damage to the right wing and aileron. According to the pilot, no preimpact mechanical malfunctions or failures were identified.
Sequence of Events
The pilot stated that immediately after the tail came off the ground and the left wing rose, the airplane began to swerve. Despite corrective control inputs using aileron, rudder, and control stick, the airplane turned into the wind. Subsequently, the right wing and propeller contacted the runway surface.
The airplane came to rest in a balanced position on its right main landing gear, the propeller, and the right wing tip.
Damage Assessment
The right wing and right aileron sustained substantial damage from impact with the runway surface.

The pilot reported no preimpact mechanical malfunctions or failures with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
