Overview
On June 4, 2012, at 1200 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 182Q, registered as VH-CWQ, was reported missing. The aircraft was subsequently located near Coonabarabran, Australia. The airplane was registered to and operated by a private individual under the pertinent civil regulations of Australia.
Accident Details
The pilot, the sole occupant of the aircraft, was fatally injured in the accident. The airplane collided with terrain, resulting in substantial damage from impact forces and a post-accident fire.
