Landing Bounce Leads to Nose Gear Impact and Propeller Strike

Incident Overview

The pilot reported that during the landing flare, the airplane bounced on the runway several times. On the final bounce, the nose wheel landing gear impacted the runway with sufficient force to rupture the front tire. The propeller subsequently struck the ground, resulting in substantial damage to the firewall.
