Accident Details
On June 29, 2012, at 0705 UTC, a Hughes HU369D helicopter, German registration D-HLUX, struck a powerline and subsequently impacted terrain near Lieser, Germany. The aircraft was destroyed in the accident. The pilot, who was the sole person on board, sustained fatal injuries. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident, which occurred during a local aerial application flight.
