What happened
On July 7, 2012, at approximately 1525 UTC, a Bell 206L helicopter, registration P2 HCY, crashed into the Qingshanzui Reservoir located in Chuxiong City, China. The aircraft was being operated by Yunnan General Aviation Co. Ltd. under the civil regulations of China.
The impact resulted in 3 fatal injuries, involving the pilot and two passengers. The aircraft sustained substantial damage during the accident.
