Accident Overview
On October 3, 2012, at 1100 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-25-260, Brazilian registration PT-DOX, was destroyed when it impacted terrain and was consumed by fire following a collision with high-tension electric wires. The aircraft was conducting crop-dusting operations in the vicinity of Juquia Municipality, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The pilot was fatally injured.
