What happened
On October 20, 2012, at approximately 1150 UTC, a loss of separation occurred near point ATRAK in the vicinity of Riga, Latvia. The incident involved a Boeing 737 operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and an Embraer operated by Finnair. During the event, the two aircraft came within 4.2 nautical miles of each other laterally and 700 feet of vertical separation. There were no injuries resulting from this event.
