Accident
The pilot, a commercial-rated aviator, initiated a go-around following a bounced landing. During the go-around, full power was applied. The torque generated by the turbo-prop engine induced a rightward turning moment. The pilot stated that he was unable to arrest the turn. The aircraft subsequently collided with trees.
Damage
The impact with trees caused substantial damage to multiple components of the aircraft, including the right wing, fuselage, vertical stabilizer, both horizontal stabilizers, and the rudder.
Findings
The pilot reported that there were no mechanical deficiencies with the airplane or engine.
