Accident
On December 12, 2012, at approximately 1530 UTC (1030 local time), a Piper PA-34-200T aircraft, Colombian registration HK4477G, was destroyed when it impacted rising mountainous terrain near La Cuchilla, close to Zulia in Norte de Santander, Colombia. The commercial pilot and three passengers sustained fatal injuries. Instrument meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident.
