What happened
On December 25, 2012, at 08:50 local time, an Air Bagan Fokker 100, registration XY-AGC, crashed while approaching the runway at Heho, Myanmar (Burma). The aircraft was operating as flight W9-11, a scheduled passenger service arriving from Mandalay.
The impact occurred short of the runway. Among the 63 passengers, 6 crew members, and 2 security personnel on board, there was 1 fatality and 11 serious injuries. Additionally, a motorist traveling on a motorbike on a nearby road was killed in the accident. The aircraft sustained substantial damage during the crash.
