What happened
On December 26, 2012, at 20:50 UTC, a Piper PA-28-181, registered as PR-NAX, was involved in a fatal accident at the Para de Minas aerodrome in Para de Minas City, Brazil. The aircraft was being used for flight instruction at the time of the event.
During the flight, the crew attempted a go-around, but the aircraft impacted the ground after the crew lost control. The accident resulted in 2 fatal injuries, involving both the instructor pilot and the student.
