What happened
On February 2, 2013, at approximately 21:15 local time, a Robinson R44 helicopter, registered as ZP-HAH, crashed into sparsely populated terrain. The accident occurred about 27 nautical miles west-northwest of Puerto Antequera, Paraguay.
The flight was operated by Helitactica S.A. and departed from Teniente Coronel Carmelo Peralta Airport (SGCO) in Concepcion, Paraguay, with a destination of Sajonia Naval Base in Asuncion. At the time of the impact, the aircraft was operating under Paraguayan flight regulations during night conditions with rain showers in the area.
The crash resulted in 3 fatal injuries, involving the private pilot and two passengers.
