Accident Details
On February 15, at 1615 central standard time, an American Champion 8KCAB Decathalon, registered in El Salvador as YS-175P, was destroyed when it impacted terrain under unknown circumstances near Cozumel, Mexico. The aircraft was owned by a private individual. The pilot and one passenger sustained fatal injuries. The flight had originated from Captain Eduardo Toledo airport in Cozumel, Mexico.
