Notification

The Aeronautical Accident Prevention and Investigation Center (CENIPA) of Brazil has notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Boeing 727 that occurred on March 05, 2013.

Investigation

In response, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist CENIPA's investigation. This appointment is made under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, which designates the NTSB as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.
