NTSB Appoints Representative for 2013 Boeing 737 Accident in Iceland

Investigation Notification and Appointment The Aircraft Accident Investigation Board (AAIB) of Iceland notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Boeing 737 that occurred on March 6, 2013. In response, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the AAIB of Iceland with its investigation. This appointment was made under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, with the United States acting in its capacity as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane. ## Information Release All investigative information related to the accident is to be released by the AAIB of Iceland.
