What happened
On March 26, 2013, at approximately 1300 UTC, a Eurocopter BO-105 helicopter, registered as 9Y-TIC, performed a forced landing in a forested region of Granville, Cedros, Trinidad and Tobago. The aircraft was conducting an aerial surveillance flight for National Helicopter Services Limited at the time of the event. The weather conditions during the flight were visual meteorological conditions (VMC).
The impact resulted in substantial damage to the aircraft. The pilot sustained one minor injury, and there were no fatalities.
