What happened
On June 27, 2013, at 1930 UTC, a Cirrus Design SR22, registration VH-CKS, was performing an approach for landing at Shepparton Aerodrome, Australia. During this phase of flight, the aircraft collided with terrain. The accident resulted in 1 fatality for the pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.
