Notification of Accident
The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Cessna T206H airplane. The accident occurred on September 7, 2013.
NTSB Involvement
In response to the notification, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist SACAA in the investigation. This appointment is in accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, as the United States is the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane and its engine.
Investigative Authority
All investigative information pertaining to this accident will be released by SACAA. The NTSB's role is to provide support as the State of Manufacture.
