What happened

On October 4, 2013, at 1435 UTC, a Sikorsky S-92A helicopter, registered as LN-ONW, performed an emergency landing on the decommissioned and unmanned Yme oil rig. The aircraft was traveling from the Valhall oil rig toward Sola, Norway, when the crew received indications of low oil pressure in the main gearbox.
