What happened
On October 14, 2013, at approximately 1134 UTC, a Luscombe 8E, registration LV-RTS, crashed in an industrial park in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The aircraft was performing a descent through thick fog when it impacted the terrain.
The flight originated from Zarate Airport (SATE) and was traveling toward Chascomus Airport (SMUS) at the time of the accident. The impact resulted in 2 fatalities for the pilot and passenger.
