Accident Overview
On October 19, 2013, at approximately 1105 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-28R-200 aircraft, bearing Brazilian registration PT-NKO, was destroyed when it impacted terrain under unknown circumstances near Corumba Municipality, Brazil. The foreign certificated pilot and four passengers sustained fatal injuries.

The flight originated from Teruel Ipanema Estancia Airport (SSEI), located near Bodoquena, Brazil. Its intended destination was Santa Gertrudes Airport (SSZF), near Corumba, Brazil. The circumstances leading to the impact have not been determined.
