Accident Notification
The government of Bolivia has notified the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Swearingen SA227 airplane that occurred on November 3, 2013. The notification was made in accordance with international protocols.
NTSB Involvement
In response, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the government of Bolivia's investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13. The NTSB serves in this capacity as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.
