Accident Details

On December 26, 2013, at approximately 2148 UTC, a Cessna 172A aircraft, Brazilian registration PT-CNL, was destroyed during touch and go landing operations in the Teresina Municipality, State of Piauí, Brazil. The airplane impacted the ground about 130 meters to the left of the runway shortly after the second takeoff from Teresina International Airport (SBTE). Following the impact, the aircraft exploded.
