What happened
On April 19, 2018, at 1230 UTC, a Cessna 152, registration G-UFCO, crashed into the terrain in Crumlin, Northern Ireland. The aircraft had departed from Newtonards Airport prior to the accident.
The impact and subsequent post-impact fire caused 2 fatal injuries to the pilot and passenger. The wreckage was discovered in a field, and the aircraft sustained substantial damage.
