Accident Overview
On December 14, 2017, at approximately 1620 coordinated universal time, a Cessna 510 airplane, registered as OE-FWD, impacted terrain near Waldburg, Germany. The aircraft was destroyed, and the pilots and passenger sustained fatal injuries.
Investigation
The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the German government. The German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Investigation (Bundesstelle fuer Flugunfalluntersuchung, BFU) is leading the inquiry. The aircraft involved was a Cessna 510, registration OE-FWD. There were three persons on board: two pilots and one passenger. All three were fatally injured. The airplane was destroyed in the impact.
