What happened
On January 15, 2014, at approximately 15:30 local time, a Helio HT-295, registered as HC-BTC, was involved in an accident near Macas, Ecuador. The aircraft, operated by Fundacion Aereo Regional FAR, had departed from Edmundo Carmeval Airport (SEMC) and was proceeding toward Taisha Airport (SETH).
Following the takeoff, the aircraft performed a forced landing, resulting in substantial damage to the plane. The incident involved a crew of two and two passengers. Among the occupants, there were 2 serious injuries and 2 minor injuries, with 0 fatalities.
