Accident Summary

On February 15, 2014, at approximately 2200 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Robinson R44 helicopter, Brazilian registration PT-YMF, was destroyed when it impacted the ground in a dense forest in the Bragança Municipality, State of Pará, Brazil. The Brazilian pilot and sole passenger were fatally injured. Reports indicate that rain was in the vicinity at the time of the accident. The flight was conducted under Brazilian flight regulations.
