What happened
On February 15, 2014, at approximately 2200 UTC, a Robinson R44 helicopter, bearing registration PT-YMF, crashed in a dense forest within the Bragança Municipality, Pará, Brazil. The aircraft had departed from Paragominas Airport (SNE NEB) earlier that evening, en route to Belém/Val-De-Cans - Júlio Cezar Riberio Airport (SBBE).
The flight was conducted at night under Brazilian flight regulations. At the time of the accident, rain was reported in the vicinity. The impact destroyed the aircraft, and the pilot and the sole passenger sustained 2 fatal injuries.
