Accident Details
On March 17, 2014, at approximately 1725 local time, a Zivko Aeronautics Edge 540T, registration N149WA, was substantially damaged when it collided with the ground while performing in an airshow at Al Khor Airport (OTBK) in Al Khor, Qatar. The flight originated from the same airport. The commercial pilot on board was fatally injured.
Investigation
The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
