What happened
On March 22, 2014, at approximately 11:23 local time, a Cessna 206 with registration VH-FRT crashed near Caboolture, Australia. The aircraft was being operated as a sport parachute operation under Australian civil regulations. The accident occurred shortly after the aircraft had taken off.
The crash resulted in 5 fatal injuries, involving the pilot and four passengers. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.
