What happened
On March 29, 2014, at 10:00 UTC, a Piper PA-38-112, registration HA-APW, was involved in an accident at Szombathely Airport in Hungary. While the aircraft was taxiing, the right main landing gear collapsed, resulting in substantial damage to the airplane. The flight was operating under visual meteorological conditions (VMC) during the day.
There were no injuries to the pilot or the passenger involved in the event.
