On March 29, 2014, at 1000 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-38-112 aircraft sustained substantial damage when its right main landing gear collapsed during taxiing at Szombathely Airport, near Szombathely, Hungary. The pilot and passenger were not injured. Day visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the local flight.
