What happened
On April 10, 2014, at 0323 UTC, a Bell 407GX, registration B-7475, impacted water near Beijing, P.R. China. The helicopter was being operated by Eastern General Aviation Limited Corporation under the civil regulations of the government of China. The impact resulted in 1 fatality and 1 minor injury.
The investigation
The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) is conducting the investigation. Because the United States is the state of manufacture for the aircraft and engines, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to participate under ICAO Annex 13 provisions.
