What happened
On May 15, 2014, a Cessna 120, registration N2642N, was performing a landing in Colville, Washington, under visual meteorological conditions with 10 miles of visibility. During the landing roll, the aircraft drifted to the left. In an attempt to correct the drift, the pilot applied right rudder, which caused the airplane to veer off the runway to the right. This maneuver resulted in a ground loop where the left wing struck the ground, causing substantial damage to the wing.
The pilot sustained one minor injury and there were no fatalities.
