What happened
On July 4, 2014, at 13:25 local time, a Cessna T210N, registration VH-ZFW, collided with terrain during the initial climb phase following takeoff from Inverell, Australia. The aircraft was being operated by the pilot in accordance with Australian civil regulations. Following the impact, a post-impact fire occurred, which destroyed the airplane.
The accident resulted in 1 fatality and 1 serious injury.
