Accident Details
On July 5, 2014, at 1437 local time, a Robinson R44 helicopter experienced an engine failure in the vicinity of a thunderstorm near Novosheshminsk, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation. The resulting forced landing destroyed the helicopter. The Russian pilot, who was the sole occupant, sustained serious injuries.
