What happened
On August 30, 2014, at approximately 1625 UTC, a Cessna 177B, registered as PT-DLA, crashed shortly after departing from Bacacheri Airport (SBBI) in Curitiba, Brazil. The aircraft was performing a personal flight intended for 14 Bis Airport (SSOK) in Londrina, Brazil, operating under Brazilian flight regulations.
Following the impact with the ground in a residential area, the aircraft was destroyed. The accident resulted in 3 fatalities among the pilot and two passengers, while one passenger sustained serious injuries.
