What happened
On September 12, 2014, at approximately 1000 UTC, a Cessna Reims F152 aircraft, registration CS-AYH, was destroyed following a ditching event along the seashore of Sagres, Portugal. The aircraft was performing a local flight originating from Portimão Airport (LPPM) in Portimão, Portugal, at the time of the accident. The pilot sustained 1 fatal injury.
