On September 12, 2014, a Cessna Reims F152 (CS-AYH) ditched off the coast of Sagres, Portugal, during a local flight from Portimão Airport. The pilot sustained fatal injuries and the aircraft was destroyed.

Accident Details

On September 12, 2014, at approximately 1000 coordinated universal time, a Cessna Reims F152 single-engine airplane, serial number 1612 and registration CS-AYH, ditched along the seashore of Sagres, Portugal. The aircraft was destroyed in the accident. The pilot sustained fatal injuries. The flight was a local operation that had departed from Portimão Airport (LPPM) in Portimão, Portugal.
