What happened
On September 22, 2014, at approximately 1530 UTC, a Diamond DA20-C1, registered as OE-ADH, crashed near Aeroporto di Marina di Campo (LIRJ) in Marina di Campo, Italy. The aircraft, operated by Urbe Aero, was performing a flight under Italian regulations intended for Aeroporto di Roma-Urbe (LIRU) in Rome.
Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft impacted the ground, resulting in substantial damage to the airframe. The flight involved an instructor and a student pilot, both of whom sustained 2 fatal injuries.
