Accident Details
On October 17, 2014, at approximately 0630 coordinated universal time, an Ayres S-2R aircraft, Turkish registration TC-ZEC, experienced a loss of engine power while performing a local aerial application flight. The pilot executed a forced landing near Karatepe, Turkey. During the landing, the aircraft sustained substantial damage. The pilot, the sole occupant, was not injured.
