What happened
On October 17, 2014, at approximately 0630 UTC, an Ayres S-2R, registered as TC-ZEC, experienced a loss of engine power while operating near Karatepe, Turkey. The aircraft, operated by ER-AH Aviation Ltd., was performing a local aerial application flight originating from Balikesir Edremit Korfez Airport (LTFD) in Edremit, Turkey.
Following the loss of power, the pilot performed a forced landing, which resulted in substantial damage to the aircraft. The pilot was not injured during the event.
