On December 2, 2014, an Ayres Trush S2R-T34 (PK-ELR) operated by PT. Elang Nunsantara Air ditched in the sea near Manado, Indonesia. The aircraft was destroyed; the pilot and engineer are presumed fatally injured.

Accident

On December 2, 2014, at approximately 0250 UTC, an Ayres Trush S2R-T34, registration PK-ELR, ditched in the sea under unknown circumstances. Debris including a tail wheel tire, elevator, both main landing gears, and some personal equipment was recovered approximately one mile from the coastline of Kema Village in Manado, Indonesia.

Aircraft and Operator

The aircraft was operated by PT. Elang Nunsantara Air in accordance with Indonesian civil aviation regulations. The airplane was destroyed in the accident. The pilot and engineer on board are presumed fatally injured.

Investigation
