Incident Overview
On November 4, 2014, an incident occurred involving a Boeing 767-322. The Comisión Investigadora de Accidentes de Aviación (CIAA) of Peru notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the event. The NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the CIAA’s investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.
Further details regarding the location, operator, occupants, injuries, or damage have not been released by the CIAA. All investigative information will be released by the CIAA of Peru in accordance with standard procedures.

The CIAA of Peru is leading the investigation with support from the NTSB. At this time, no additional information has been made public by the Peruvian authority.
