The accident occurred in Santa Monica, Parana, Brazil, during cruise flight. The Brazilian certificated pilot sustained fatal injuries, and one passenger was seriously injured.

The flight originated from Porto Rico, Brazil, and was destined for Santa Monica, Brazil.
