Accident Overview
On February 19, 2015, at approximately 1340 UTC, a Cessna 182P aircraft sustained an inflight breakup and subsequent impact with terrain near the municipality of Bueno Brandao, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The aircraft was destroyed.

The aircraft, bearing Brazilian registration PT-KBV, was a Cessna 182P model. It was being operated on a personal flight that had departed from Parati Airport (SDTK) in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and was destined for Dr. Leite Lopes–Ribeirão Preto Airport (SBRP) in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil. On board were the pilot, a copilot, and two passengers.

The pilot, copilot, and both passengers sustained fatal injuries.
