What happened
On March 16, 2015, a Cessna 140, registration N2026V, was performing its third landing while remaining in the traffic pattern. As the aircraft crossed the intersection of two runways during the landing roll, the pilot reported that the airplane rapidly reversed direction. This loss of control caused the aircraft to exit the runway.
The accident resulted in 1 minor injury to the pilot. The aircraft sustained substantial damage to the fuselage and the left rear lift strut.
