Accident Details
On April 13, 2015, at 0800 local time, a Bell 206 BIII helicopter, registration B-7607, was conducting an aerial application flight near Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, China. During the flight, the helicopter collided with a wire. The impact caused substantial damage to the aircraft. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, sustained fatal injuries.

The helicopter was operated by Hubei Tongcheng General Aviation Ltd under the pertinent civil regulations of the government of China.
Investigation
The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) is investigating the accident. As the state of manufacture for the aircraft and engines, the United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has designated a U.S. Accredited Representative under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13.
