On April 23, 2015, an incident occurred involving a Boeing 737-800, registration CN-RNZ, in Madrid, Spain. The Director General of Civil Aviation of Morocco provided notification to the NTSB regarding the event.
As the State of Manufacture and Design for both the aircraft and the engine, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the Moroccan authorities in their investigation, following the provisions of ICAO Annex 13. There were no injuries reported in relation to this incident.
