Accident Details
On May 13, 2015, at approximately 1835 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Cessna 182 aircraft with Argentine registration LV-CXM impacted power lines while maneuvering during an aerial survey flight. The accident occurred near Bajo Hondo, Argentina. The aircraft was engaged in an aerial survey operation at the time of the incident. Both the pilot and a passenger sustained fatal injuries. The airplane was destroyed by a postcrash fire.
