Student Pilot Reports Porpoising and Bouncing During Two Landing Attempts

Incident Overview

A solo student pilot experienced difficulties during two separate landing attempts. The first landing touchdown resulted in a porpoising motion, prompting the pilot to abort the landing. The second touchdown, performed at a different airport, was characterized by the pilot as a "very hard" bounce.

Damage Inspection
