What happened
On June 7, 2015, at approximately 1823 UTC, a Textron Aviation C90GTi, registration PR-AVG, crashed into a house near Belo Horizonte-Pampulha Airport (SBBH) in Belo Horizonte City, Brazil. The aircraft had departed from SBBH about one minute prior to the accident, en route to Faz Barranco Alto Airport (SSOQ) in Mato Grosso do Sul.
Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft experienced a loss of control and descended into a building. The impact and a subsequent postcrash fire destroyed the airplane. The accident resulted in 3 fatal injuries to the flight crew and one additional cabin crew member. One person on the ground sustained minor injuries.
At the time of the accident, weather conditions were within visual meteorological conditions (VMC) with a visibility of 6 statute miles and winds from 100 degrees at 6 knots. The flight was being operated by Atlantica Exportacao e Importacao Ltda under the provisions of a foreign private, non-scheduled domestic flight.
