Introduction
On June 7, 2015, at approximately 1823 UTC, a Textron Aviation C90GTi aircraft with Brazilian registration PR-AVG crashed into a house near Belo Horizonte-Pampulha Airport (SBBH) in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The aircraft was operated by Atlantica Exportacao e Importacao Ltda under the provisions of a foreign private, non-scheduled domestic flight. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time.
Accident Details
The flight had departed SBBH about one minute before the accident, bound for Faz Barranco Alto Airport (SSOQ) in Mato Grosso do Sul. Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft experienced a loss of control and descended into a building. A post-crash fire ensued, destroying the aircraft. The flight crew and one additional cabin crew member were fatally injured. One person on the ground sustained minor injuries. Information regarding the flight plan was not available.
