Accident
On July 26, 2015, at approximately 1738 mountain daylight time, a Cessna 182 airplane, registration C-FWVQ, impacted terrain shortly after takeoff from Seibert Lake, Alberta, Canada. The circumstances surrounding the accident are unknown. The pilot sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Investigation
The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada has initiated an investigation into the accident. As the State of Manufacture of the airplane and engines, the United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has designated a U.S. accredited representative to assist the TSB in its investigation. All inquiries concerning this accident should be directed to the TSB of Canada.
