Accident Overview
On July 26, 2015, at 0200 coordinated universal time, a Piper PA46-350P aircraft, registration JA4060, operated by a private individual, impacted a residential area shortly after takeoff from Chofu Airfield in Tokyo, Japan. The aircraft was destroyed.
Injuries
The pilot, one passenger, and one person on the ground sustained fatal injuries. Three additional passengers and two other people on the ground sustained serious injuries.
